Appeasement

 

Water to this dry land are you,
The kiss that swirls my world;
I am the paint and you my brush.

Healer to this heart are you,
Sweetness to the portions of my bitterness.

Warmth to this cold are you,
Sun-carressed skin I’ve become;
You are the sun and I the moon.
