Something More

Friendship and something more
he whispers to me
in unspoken words,
intentional brushes of my skin
and sideways glances.


Written for an online challenge to write about love without using words like love, heart, etc.

 

Desirable Rubbish

Doubt whistles in the air;
Memory warrants a friendly trigger.

She listens over an audience;
Faith speaks outstanding hope…

It’s how his rain steers their playground down.
